nah, i'll just post another poem, but keep your eyes peeled cause i'm not giving a definitive "no"!
this one's really old, but, hell, it's still good in my opinion, plus i'm particularly proud of it cause it's my innovation to the common sonnet format

Vacation During Columbine:
How would it feel to be miles away from tragedy
When you were supposed to be front and center?
The guilt and relief of salvation together would,
Almost, create a bitter taste in your mouth.
Would you fall to your knees and praise God?
Or fall on your face and question Him?
Bittersweet would be a distant memory,
And nostalgia would set in as you long,
Indefinitely, to simply feel freedom or bondage.
Soon, though, that longing would become that bondage.
Any hope you had of living,
Is struck down by itself.
Pick up these pieces before they put you down,
And lift up your head before the sky itself casts you out.
